美国马里兰大学史密斯商学院诚挚邀请您参加美国马里兰大学史密斯商学院教授Ritu Agarwal博士的讲座：健康与医学领域的数字化转型：机遇与挑战并存。
 

国民的健康是世界上各国公共政策的重要关注点，在政府的开支中占有重要的比重。在美国，卫生保健在经济中占据最大的比重，2012年的政府开支中每6美元中就有超过1美元花费在了卫生保健领域。由于受到人口老龄化的驱动以及政府在扩大社会保险的覆盖面上做出的种种努力，中国的卫生保健开支预计会是现在的三倍，在2020年将达到每年1万亿元 。

在过去的5年里，Ritu Agarwal教授主持了多项研究，涉及到卫生保健领域数字化的各个方面，包括医院采用电子健康记录，与电子医疗数据相关的个人隐私问题，在卫生保健选择和公共卫生领域中日趋重要的网络。Ritu教授将总结这些研究的主要成果，分享美国卫生保健系统面临的挑战；美国和中国健康系统的比较以及数字化的机遇；并探讨未来卫生保健系统发展的前景。

Ritu Agarwal is Professor and the Robert H. Smith Dean’s Chair of Information Systems at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park. She is also the founder and Director of the Center for Health Information and Decision Systems at the Smith School.
Dr. Agarwal has published over 80 papers on information technology management topics in journals. Her current research is focused on the use of IT in healthcare settings, technology-enabled strategic transformations in various industrial sectors, and consumer behavior in technology-mediated settings.
She has served in leadership roles in a number of major professional conferences during her career, including Program Chair for the International Conference on Information Systems. She is a member of ACM, AIS, INFORMS, and the Academy of Management. In 2011 she was appointed as a Fellow of the Association for Information Systems.
