Professor Bastin will make use of his most recently published research, eg articles on Chinese consumer behaviour and live international television appearances such as （http://watsupasia.com/news/discussion-another-year-of-record-breaking-singles-day-sales/） , and his wealth of experience working in China and researching Chinese consumers. in delivering a lecture on the changes in Chinese consumer culture and the marketing implications.

7-7.30pm: Question and Answer session : Attendees free to question Professor Bastin on any aspect of Chinese consumer behaviour.
7.30-8pm: Case study discussion: Chinese consumers – Ba-ling-hou, Jiu-ling-hou and Ling-ling-hou
8-8.30pm: Key marketing implications as a result of changes in Chinese consumer behaviour

嘉宾：Professor Mike Bastin
嘉宾介绍：
l  Professor Bastin is currently based at the University of Southampton
l  With almost 20 years experience teaching Consumer Behaviour at U.K, U.S, Indian and Chinese universities, Mike continues to teach and research the interface between social science and business and management.
l  A graduate of Warwick Business School, Mike has taught at leading universities in China such as Tsinghua and Peking university.
l  Mike’s academic research has been published in international academic journals such as Social Cognition and the journal of Social Behaviour and Personality. And the journal of Brand Management.
l  Mike’s work has also been published/cited extensively in international newspapers such as the Financial Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Toronto Globe and Mail, the Washing Post and China Daily and the Beijing-based Global Times.
l  Mike has also appeared live on CCTV News and appears regularly on China Radio International as an expert commentator on China and the international business environment.
